Faculty of Management University of Warsaw Synergy: A New Portal, New Opportunities

Faculty of Management University of Warsaw Synergy is an internet portal for the community of the Faculty of Management University of Warsaw as well as companies and institutions cooperating with the Faculty. Its main goal is to provide information and maintain contact with students and alumni of the Faculty, academics, business partners, and other interested institutions.

The portal consists of four zones: Student, Alumni, Business, and Academia. In each zone there are tags such as the news, articles, and events. Additionally, each zone has its own specific tags, dedicated to each group of recipients separately.

In the Student zone you can find current job offers, internships, and traineeships. Every user who is logged in can generate his or her professional CV, take competence tests, and then consult the results with a career advisor. Moreover, there are posted useful links, recommending interesting portals and websites, thanks to which everything can be found in one place.

In the Student zone you can find the following tags:

• News and current affairs
• Employer zone
• Contact with the Career Office of the Faculty

In the Alumni zone there are not only current job offers, internships and traineeships, but also a possibility of creating a business card of your company. If you are a graduate of our Faculty and you have started your own company, it is a chance and a good way of promoting it and showing your activity. If you have finished your studies and you don’t know what to do next, you can find the educational offer of the Faculty under the Further Education tag. As a graduate, you can also find your mentor, business partner, or investor to cooperate with. All these options are supposed to support you in your professional development and help you enter the business world. Additionally, if you wish to maintain contact with the Faculty after graduation, you can leave your contact details there.

In the Alumni zone you can find:

The Business zone has been prepared keeping in mind our current business partners and employers who are interested in hiring students and graduates of the Faculty. In the Business zone you will find information on further education, training courses for business, as well as renting rooms and halls at the Faculty to hold conferences or workshops. Employers can open an account of their company or institution in order to place for free their job offers, internships and traineeships, to be made available to students and alumni of the Faculty. If you are a business expert or practitioner, you can open your expert account on the Synergy Portal to share your knowledge and experience with others or to find a business partner or research expert to cooperate with.

The Academia zone is the space for academics of the Faculty of Management University of Warsaw. One can find here information on the partners and experts cooperating with the Faculty. Moreover, there are posted the news and interesting articles dedicated especially to our research workers. If you are an academic teacher of the Faculty and you would like to become a mentor, advisor, investor, or project partner, you are welcome to open an expert account. As a research worker you can also use the available forum to conduct your projects (do remember to ask the administrator to open a new thread).

We encourage you to use the Faculty of Management University of Warsaw Synergy Portal and to open your account (most functionalities of the Portal are available after logging in only). Students, graduates, and research workers of the Faculty open their accounts after being verified in the USOS system. Employers open their account on the basis of their NIP number and the zip code (then the account of a registered company/institution is accepted by the administrator). Expert accounts also require acceptance of the administrator.
