Statement on Accessibility
The Faculty of Management at the University of Warsaw is committed to ensuring the accessibility of its website, wz.uw.edu.pl, in accordance with the provisions of the Act of 4 April 2019 on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies.
Compliance Status
The website is partially compliant with the Act of 4 April 2019, on the Digital Accessibility of Websites and Mobile Applications of Public Sector Bodies due to the following non-conformities or exemptions:
- Some published files (e.g., PDF documents, scans) may not have a fully digitally accessible structure.
- Some video materials published before the Act came into effect may not have captions for the deaf or audio descriptions.
- Some of the posted photos and graphics may not have complete alternative text descriptions.
(The Faculty is working regularly to gradually remove the identified barriers and adapt the content to WCAG standards.)

Request and Complaint Procedure
Everyone has the right to request that a website or a part of a website be made digitally accessible. You may also request that information be made available through an alternative access method.
The request should include:
- The personal information of the person submitting the request.
- A description of the specific website or part of the website in question.
- An indication of the preferred method for providing the information (in the case of a request for alternative access).
The public entity should fulfill the request immediately, no later than 7 days from the date the request was submitted. If it is not possible to meet this deadline, the entity will notify the requester and specify a new deadline (no longer than 2 months).
In the event of a refusal to comply with the request or an unsatisfactory response to a complaint, the requester has the right to file a complaint with the Ombudsman.
Architectural Accessibility
Headquarters of the University of Warsaw’s Faculty of Management (ul. Szturmowa 1/3, 02-678 Warsaw):
- Access and Entrance:
- The complex is accessible by public transportation (buses; the Służew metro station is nearby).
- The main entrances to the Faculty’s buildings are adapted for people with mobility impairments (barrier-free ramps, wide doors).
- Navigating the building:
- The buildings are equipped with elevators adapted to the needs of people with disabilities.
- The hallways on each floor are free of horizontal and vertical barriers.
- There are appropriately adapted restrooms on the premises.
- Service Dogs:
- Service dogs and guide dogs are permitted in all Faculty buildings.
